Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement division of the Fire Department is charged with ensuring safe housing and a healthy living environment within the City of Santa Paula. To accomplish this, our Code Enforcement division is active in the process of defining and implementing the minimum housing and health standards relating to building construction in the City.

Our duties include:

• Investigation of alleged violations
• Building inspections
• Collaborating with responsible parties to resolve code violations
• Preparation of documentation for court when necessary.
